Odin Activator v1.4 supports two main methods of unlocking your iOS device: Reader Token and A12 Bypass. Here are the details of each method and their features
Reader token feature
Supports FMI shutdown for any non-carrier locked device by token
If your device is not carrier locked, you can turn off the My iPhone (FMI) feature and use the reader token method to unlock your device. This method is permanent and supports any iOS version. You’ll need a reader token, which is a unique code we generate for your device. You can order a reader token from our website or contact us for more information.
OTA update is supported
You can update your device over the air (OTA) without losing the FMI off status. This means you can enjoy the latest iOS features and security updates without any risk.
Any iOS support
You can use reader token method in any iOS version from iOS 12 to iOS 16.6.1. You don’t have to worry about compatibility issues or downgrading your device.
permanent removal
The Reader Token method permanently removes the FMI feature from your device. You can restore, wipe or reset your device without any problem. You can use your device with any Apple ID or iCloud account.
A12 bypass feature
Make sure your device is running iOS 15-16.61
If your device is locked by a carrier or has a passcode, you can use the A12 bypass method to bypass the activation lock and use your device. This method is temporary and supports iOS 15 to iOS 16.6.1. You need to download and run our Odin Activator software on your computer and connect your device to it. Make sure your device is on the Hello screen
Before you use the A12 bypass method, you need to make sure that your device is on the Hello screen. It appears when you turn on your device for the first time or after a reset. If your device is not on the Hello screen, you need to reset it by following these steps:
- Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
- Enter your passcode when prompted
- Confirm the reset and wait for the process to complete
- Do not enter any Apple ID or iCloud account while restarting the device

Passcode mode is currently not supported
The A12 bypass method does not support devices that have a passcode. If your device has a passcode, you must remove it before using the A12 bypass method. You can remove the passcode by following these steps:
Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode).
Enter your passcode when prompted
Tap Turn Off Passcode
- Confirm the action and wait for the process to complete
- Go to hello screen and connect your device with Odin Activator software
- Chimera / Substitute devices are not supported.
The A12 bypass method does not support devices that have been modified or replaced by third-party services, such as Chimera. These devices have different serial numbers and hardware components that are not compatible with the A12 bypass method. If your device is a Chimera or a replacement device, you cannot use the A12 bypass method.
OTA is supported on iOS
- You can use your A12 bypass method on any iOS version from iOS 15 to iOS 16.6.1.

How to unlock your device using the Odin Activator?

- Install the required USB Driver on your computer. (If you have already installed, then SKIP this steps)
Read Info: You can use the Odin Activator to easily read device information to check hardware and software. That’s for; Go to your desired function section > Choose chipset model > Select “Read Info” > Click on the Start.
Write Firmware: Open the tool > Go to Flasher tab > Then, choose stock ROM > Now, click on Flash > Connect your device to Flash Mode.
Reset FRP: Open the tool > Go to Service tab > Then, click on the Reset FRP > Connect your device to Flash Mode.
Reset Screen Lock: Open the tool > Go to Service tab > Then, click on the Format FS > Connect your device to Flash Mode.
